Elm Place – Milton Senior Housing

Milton, Vermont –
Engineering Services of Vermont was excited to be included on the design team for the Elm Place project led by Duncan Wisniewski, Architects. This 42,200 square foot building contains 30 units of senior housing on 3 floors (open parking on the grade level) is designed with a Passive House certification as the end goal. If this goal is met, this will be the first multi-family building Passive House certified in Climate Zone 6 in the United States. The design of the building systems required close coordination and collaboration with the Passive House Team members, Eco Houses of Vermont and Efficiency Vermont. The project has just begun construction, managed by ReArch Company as construction manager.
